Job Summary
As a cleaner at our facility, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a cleaner and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.
About the Role
* Clean floors using manual or mechanical cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners to ensure a hygienic and well-maintained workspace.
* Empty rubbish and recycling bins, replacing liners and ensuring bins are kept clean and free from odours.
* Wash and fold laundry in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
* Dust and tidy all assigned areas, rooms and furniture, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
* Sanitise bathrooms and kitchens, paying particular attention to high-touch areas and ensuring they remain spotless.
* Clean windows, walls, mirrors and glass surfaces, removing streaks and marks to maintain a sparkling appearance.
* Restock bathrooms with essential items including soaps, toilet paper, hand towels, etc., to ensure staff have access to necessary supplies.
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and materials, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
* Handle chemicals and cleaning products safely, adhering to manufacturer instructions and adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
* Respond promptly to scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning requests, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Requirements

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices.
* Physical ability to lift, push and pull equipment and supplies.
