About The Role
The Global Wealth team in Australia has an opening for a Relationship Analyst ("RA"). As an integral member of our ANZ team, the successful candidate will primarily support and strengthen our relationships with Wealth clients. The RA will work closely with the ANZ wealth team on a portfolio of private wealth and sub‐advisory accounts and relationships, and will support our relationship management efforts. The analyst will collaborate with Business Development Managers, Associate Business Development Manager, Relationship Managers and Portfolio Advisors to support assigned clients and prospective clients, responding to ad‐hoc inquiries, conducting market research, and preparing for client meetings.
Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end support on new business opportunities & consultant rating process, enabling Relationship Managers and Business Developers to focus on external client engagement.
* Prepare and respond to external inquiries from clients and prospects across a broad range of topics, including RFPs/RFIs, products, and investment strategies.
* Request standard and/or customized prospect marketing onsite presentation materials and prepare briefing notes for external meetings.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to shape the wealth marketing strategy and generate relevant market content for current and prospective clients.
* Conduct competitor analysis and market mapping to support the Wealth business.
* Update and maintain our central CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and utilize strategy and business planning tools.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a passion for learning about the global capital markets. Knowledge of equity, fixed income, alternatives and/or multi‐asset investment products is strongly preferred. An interest in the business of investment management, a desire to work in a team‐based and collaborative environment, and an analytical/problem‐solving orientation are required. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrable track record of achievement, the capacity for differentiated thinking, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as a team. Ability to build relationships and collaborate across regional and global teams will be important. Strong presentation skills and client‐facing experience are highly preferred.
Additional Experience
* 2+ years of relevant experience within the asset management / investment industry.
* Direct buy‐side experience supporting intermediary/distribution client relationships preferred.
* Demonstrate interest in applying AI and digital tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall client and firm outcomes.
* Strong academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree with preference given to candidates who have undertaken postgraduate work or are progressing towards a CFA.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
