Field Service Technician – CNC Machinery Location: Sydney or Melbourne (travel required) Salary: $120K (flexible) Super Fuel Card We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a growing technical team supporting advanced CNC machinery across manufacturing and woodworking environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading machinery, supporting installations, servicing and maintenance across customer sites throughout NSW and VIC. The Role As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CNC machinery at customer sites. You will work closely with the technical and sales teams to ensure machinery is installed correctly, operating efficiently, and customers receive high-quality technical support. Key Responsibilities Install and commission CNC machinery including edgebanders, CNC routers, and panel saws Conduct servicing, preventative maintenance and warranty repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults onsite Support machinery installations alongside the existing field technician Ensure machines are operating correctly prior to customer handover Provide technical support and maintain strong customer relationships Complete service documentation and reports What’s on Offer $120K base salary super (negotiable for the right candidate) Fuel card and shared company vehicle initially Potential for a dedicated company vehicle for the right candidate All travel expenses and accommodation covered Opportunity to work with high-end CNC machinery Join a growing business with increasing installation demand Travel Travel across NSW and VIC customer sites Approximately 1 week per month of travel, depending on installation schedules All travel expenses, accommodation and transport fully covered Skills & Experience To be successful, you will ideally have: Experience working with CNC machinery Knowledge of edgebanders, CNC routers or panel saws highly desirable Background in manufacturing, woodworking, engineering or machinery servicing Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently onsite Strong problem-solving ability and customer service skills Electrical or mechanical trade qualification highly regarded Apply now to learn more about this opportunity.
