Join QTC as a Principal, Procurement and Facilities
The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the organisation by providing strategic procurement advice and governance. The position will play a key role in transforming the procurement function and will provide advice throughout the procurement and contract management lifecycle to support QTC's strategic objectives.
What you'll do:
* Assist the Director of Procurement and Facilities in leading the team to ensure effective contract and service outcomes for QTC.
* Ensure procurement processes comply with the Queensland Procurement Policy and QTC's policies and procedures.
* Oversee the accurate entry of information into QTC's contract management system (Protecht), including updating contract details and approval requirements.
* Provide strategic advice on processes and authorizations required for entering into contracts with external vendors.
* Assist with onboarding vendors onto QTC systems, including paperwork execution and management before vendors are added to Protecht and Finance 365.
* Manage vendor activities from source to contract and ongoing relationship management with key vendors and partners.
* Develop a strategic vendor and contract management framework to maximize outcomes for QTC and foster win-win relationships with key partners.
* Manage team members in their daily duties.

What you'll bring to the role:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or significant equivalent experience and understanding.
* At least 8 years of experience in roles demonstrating overall competency.
* Extensive experience in the business operating model capability set with proven results or capacity to deliver results across relevant areas.
* Personal drive, integrity, accountability, and a leadership style aligned with QTC's values.
