The Opportunity
The Commercialisation and Sourcing Manager role at Troy focuses on identifying and implementing new product and sourcing opportunities to support company growth and profitability. This position reports to the Commercial Director and is based in Glendenning.
Key Responsibilities
* Portfolio and sourcing strategy: The manager identifies new products and technologies for licensing, acquisition, or distribution, leads commercial assessments, supports due diligence, and manages negotiations for agreements.
* New product development and innovation: Responsibilities include overseeing the Stage Gate process, conducting feasibility assessments, managing product lifecycle projects, coordinating cross-functional inputs, maintaining market knowledge, and leading product launches including branding and sales training.
* Procurement and external manufacturing: The role assists with cost of goods modelling, collaborates on cost-saving sourcing alternatives, manages supplier engagement, identifies and assesses contract manufacturers, negotiates contracts, prepares offshoring business cases, and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
