We require a treasurer to join our board so that we are compliant as a non‑for‑profit.
The Wetlands Centre Cockburn is looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to join our Board. This is a vital voluntary leadership role that ensures our financial integrity and strategic resilience as we advocate for the wetlands environment. You will provide oversight of our financial management and be a key Board Member. A financial background is required.
Key Tasks
Collaborate closely with staff members to adhere to policy and procedures, provide general accounting advice and help produce financial reports to present at board meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
Oversee government reporting governance including financial statements, audits and acquittals.

About The Wetlands Centre An independent, not‑for‑profit, community‑based organisation. The Centre runs with a handful of dedicated staff and an amazing team of volunteers. Involved in landcare, conservation and wetland management, we run educational programmes all year round and have a state‑of‑the‑art accredited nursery facility that grows native flora and wetland plants.
We have rooms to hire suitable for events, conferences, workshops and a gallery for art exhibitions.
