Job Description
* Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
* Provide detailed financial reporting and insights to support decision-making processes.
* Ensure compliance with tax obligations and manage lodgements.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial systems and processes.
* Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
* Monitor cash flow and contribute to improving financial performance.
A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them).
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
