**What are we looking for**:
We are looking for a **Junior Development Coach** to join our team on a **casual basis for 20-30 hours per week**. The role will be based at the Helensvale Aquatic Centre. The Helensvale squad has over 80 swimmers ranging from junior through to national level. This position offers the successful applicant a unique opportunity to join the Rackley swimming coaching team in an organisation that is committed to developing the sport and actively supports the performance pathways.
**What you need to succeed**:
- Plan & Implement the program for Junior, Bronze and Silver squads.
- Provide a holistic approach to swimming with a strong understanding of both the physiological and psychological needs for swimmer development.
- Encourage the transition between Learn To Swim & Squad Program
- Organise & Run Club Night
- Attend and encourage swimmers to attend club nights and promote joining the Rackley Swim team to compete in Brisbane, State and National level competitions.
- Form relationships with the community, parents and children within the centre.
- Attend local/national meets.
- Work closely and collaborate with the National Age & Head Coach as needed
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Development Coach accreditation
- Current Blue Card
- Current CPR and lifeguard
