You take pride in maintaining safe, reliable and well-performing assets and enjoy troubleshooting, fault finding and improving plant reliability.You're comfortable working in a self-managed environment where safety, teamwork and accountability are top priorities. You bring strong technical capability across electrical and instrumentation systems, paired with a disciplined approach to maintenance, documentation and compliance. You value collaboration and are willing to share knowledge, support others and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.You demonstrate a strong safety mindset, act with integrity, and consistently work in line with established procedures, isolation practices and permit systems. Above all, you're motivated to be part of a close‐knit site team keeping a critical energy storage facility operating safely and efficiently.Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems across the Iona Gas Storage Facility to ensure safe, reliable and compliant plant operation. This includes fault finding, calibration, testing and installation of equipment, supporting commissioning and plant upgrades, and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance using the site CMMS (Maximo).You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering and within the Maintenance team, ensure all work meets HSE and isolation requirements, participate in safety activities, and supervise contractors as required.What you'll need Electrical and Instrumentation trade qualificationA minimum of three years' experience in the hydrocarbon, gas processing or chemical processing industryProven experience performing routine maintenance, fault finding, repair, modification and commissioning of field instrumentation systemsExperience maintaining, testing and commissioning pneumatic control devices and systemsWorking knowledge of electrical (including HV where applicable) and instrumentation systems, including their safe operation and maintenanceCompetency in testing and commissioning procedures and an understanding of controls principles and logicExperience working with DCS environments, including an understanding of how system changes impact overall plant performanceStrong safety focus with the ability to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments and work in accordance with Lochard Energy's HSE requirements and proceduresAbility to follow work procedures to support both short‐ and long‐term asset management objectivesWell‐developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications effectivelyProven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute positively to team outcomes and apply sound customer service principlesExperience using a computer‐based maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan and record work activitiesJob BenefitsThe Benefits of working with UsAt Lochard, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team leading the way in energy innovation.
