To meet the demand of our growth, we are seeking graduates of the following discipline:

Graduate Materials Engineer for our head office in Mulgrave, VIC

This position is designed for graduate-level candidates seeking to begin their career in materials engineering.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer, you will work within a team that delivers a suite of services in both the field and laboratory. Mixing it up you will enjoy:

- Delivering projects at client's site as required under supervision.
- Contributing to desktop engineering work including report writing, consulting analysis, and project documentation, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Engaging with clients under guidance to understand requirements, scope technical work, and provide clear communication throughout projects.
- Supporting the preparation of detailed project plans, cost estimates, and proposals, working alongside senior engineers to develop high-quality client deliverables.
- Developing and maintaining technical expertise in your area of responsibility, building towards independent project contributions over time.

About you

You must have:

- Recently completed an engineering degree (Degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline) OR in your final semester / final year.
- Knowledge of practical and theoretical engineering applications.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to work in both field and office environments.

You will also have:

- An engaging and flexible approach
- An ability to work as part of a team, sharing knowledge and information.
- A sound knowledge of the Microsoft Suite package
- A willingness and ability to travel domestically and overseas, as required
- Willingness to relocate during the graduate program, if required
- A valid Australian Driver's License
- Current legal working rights in Australia
