Your next career opportunity As a Lecturer in Clinical Research, you will play a vital role in delivering and coordinating advanced clinical research education within our prestigious graduate programs. You will have the opportunity to innovate teaching methods, engage with industry partners, and contribute to curriculum development, ensuring a seamless and integrated learning experience for students. This role offers the chance to influence the future of clinical research through education and international program promotion. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate and Innovate Teaching: Lead coordination and teaching across core subjects, including the Industry capstone, and develop innovative teaching initiatives. Engage with Industry Partners: Liaise with clinical research organisations and healthcare partners to enhance curriculum and student placements. Support Curriculum Development: Collaborate with coordinators to design and assess online and in-person teaching materials. Foster Student Success: Actively support students' transition through the graduate programs and promote the programs internationally. You may be a great fit if: You are an experienced academic with a PhD in clinical research, skilled in curriculum design and teaching innovation, and passionate about fostering student success and industry collaboration. You may also: Have a PhD or equivalent in clinical/medical research. Possess experience in curriculum design and teaching delivery. Demonstrate excellence in communication and publication skills. Be adept at managing time and prioritising tasks effectively. Have a collaborative approach, working well with staff and stakeholders. What we offer you! Your new team – Department of Medical Education https://medicine.unimelb.edu.au/school-structure/medical-education The Department of Medical Education was established as a department within the Melbourne Medical School in 2015. It has responsibility for the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) course, research in medical education and a range of professional development postgraduate and non-award programs. The department employs 160 fixed-term and permanent staff in collaboration with our health service partners to deliver the education, research and engagement activities of the department.
