We are seeking Trainee Geophysical Wireline Operators to join our training program for remote site FIFO positions on a 2/2 roster across our Western Australian operations.
This role involves recording data from geophysical wireline tools and directional drill hole surveying equipment, requiring excellent computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
You will work in remote locations on mine and exploration sites throughout Australia.
We are looking for self-motivated candidates with a strong work ethic who can commit to a 2/2 roster.
Once the training program has been completed, there is potential to transition to a full-time position.
As a trainee, we provide comprehensive training at our head office in Perth including external training prior to any field-based work.
You must possess the following skills:
FIFO experience (preferred)
Previous experience in mining or agricultural industries (advantageous)
A strong commitment to workplace safety
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Strong problem-solving skills
Energetic and can-do attitude
Unrestricted Manual Driver's Licence (preferred MR or above)
A national Police Clearance (or ability to gain)
A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to gain)
Candidates must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen if requested.
