**The Market HR Coordinator **is accountable for a variety of administrative responsibilities throughout the whole employee life cycle. The role contributes to the implementation of effective and efficient HR processes and activities, assisting the HR Leaders in achieving strategic goals. This above-property role oversees all Marriott properties across Melbourne, allowing tremendous learning, growth, and exposure within the HR realm.

- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- A strong attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, and adhering deadlines.
- A team player, ability to build rapport and positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, both vocal and written.
- Ability to act with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- A qualification/experience in HR would be advantageous.
- HR experience within hospitality industry preferred but not a requirement.

**What you will do**:

- Advertise approved positions, screen resumes, liaise closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Create contracts of employment and coordinate required signature and approvals.
- Conduct background and reference checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for employees, ensuring all items on the onboarding and offboarding checklists are efficiently completed.
- Maintain and update personnel digital files, coordinate processes, documents, and records for employee movements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and line managers throughout the organisation.
