The Opportunity:
When Delaware North was appointed to the MCG in 2022, we had a vision to revitalise the Non Match Day experience, and grow events beyond the boundary.
MCG Events was created to fulfil this vision, with a large focus on the business events audience, particularly International Incentive and Domestic Association, complementing the existing local corporate audience.
Over the past 2.5 years MCG Events have been recognised across industry with several awards highlighting the innovation brought to the market.

An opportunity to the join the MCG Events team is now available, stepping in to role of Marketing Manager. The role is responsible for generating qualified enquiries through the creation and execution of a detailed marketing strategy.
Encompassing a multitude of marketing competencies, the role will lead demand generation across the full customer journey, including Campaign Management; Asset Creation; Social Media Management; Budgeting; Analytics and Reporting.
You will manage the relationships with third party providers and agencies including Web Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, SEO and Analytics. The role is also vital in managing the relationship with the Melbourne Cricket Club marketing team, and precinct partners including Melbourne Olympic Parks. The role also oversees creation and management of hospitality brands across the stadium including multiple restaurants and retail concepts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Grow your marketing experience and relationships as you take leadership on all campaigns across the business
- Become the face of MCG Events marketing as you represent the brand at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
- A space to be creative and bring your own personal approach to generating demand
- Alignment with a well recognised and highly regarded brand

What will you bring?:
- A tertiary degree in Marketing and Communications
- Exceptional written skills, attention detail and ability to form and develop relationships
- A creative approach to reimagining the way an experience is marketed
- Platform knowledge and experience in Meta Business Suite and Google Business
- Ability to work with Adobe Suite, MailChimp, WordPress
