This key role plays a pivotal part in supporting business decision-making by providing insightful analysis and recommendations to drive profitability and growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Product Validation: Review the commercial viability of new products, focusing on target pricing, costs, margin expectations, and forecasts.
* Product Analysis: Analyse product progress against targets, market performance, and return on investment, informing future planning decisions.
* Inventory Management: Identify slow-moving items, propose corrective actions, and mitigate risk through effective stock management.
* Market Research: Collaborate with external sales teams to gather reliable market data for new product launches and existing product reviews.
* System Maintenance: Manage customer price files, promotions, and pricing adjustments within the system.
You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and departments, including product development, marketing, purchasing, and customer services. Your analytical skills, project management expertise, and attention to detail will drive strategic business decisions.
