PACU Anaesthetics Nurse Opportunity
Our organisation is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its Anaesthetics team in the PACU department. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and recovery of patients from anaesthesia.
* Respond promptly and effectively to any unexpected situations or emergencies within the perioperative environment.
* Maintain full compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, including workers' compensation requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
* At least one year's experience working in a similar nursing role.
* Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care needs.
* Proven capacity to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
* Postgraduate degree in Clinical Nursing – Anaesthetic & PACU (optional).
