Your Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the front-of-house team, and ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience. You’ll help drive performance, maintain service excellence, and inspire a positive team culture.
Where you'll make an impact
- Lead, coach, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver intuitive, respectful service.
- Maintain operational standards including opening/closing, rostering, inventory, and reporting.
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and responsible service of alcohol protocols.
- Manage guest feedback and support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and collaborative workplace.
To be successful, you will need:
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a leadership role within a premium dining venue.
- Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge – with a flair for Southeast Asian flavours a bonus.
- Proven ability to lead in high-pressure environments with confidence and calm.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for guest service and team development.
- QLD or nationally recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
