Legal Advisor Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on administrative law, constitutional law, and statutory interpretation.
Your primary role will involve working in-house with a regulatory body, providing day-to-day advice on administrative law and related opinion work. You will also advise on broader regulatory areas, including RTI, Privacy and Human Rights, and contribute to policy work informing legislative changes to national law.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in government, regulatory, or administrative law. A preferred background in in-house or external counsel is also desirable. Additionally, you should be able to handle both project work and day-to-day advisory tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Day-to-Day Advice: Offer expert advice on administrative law and related opinion work.
* Advise on Broader Regulatory Areas: Provide guidance on RTI, Privacy and Human Rights, and other related matters.
* Contribute to Policy Work: Participate in the development of policies that inform legislative changes to national law.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in Government or Administrative Law: A minimum of [X] years of experience in government, regulatory, or administrative law.
* Preferred Background in In-House Counsel: Experience as an in-house counsel or external counsel would be highly beneficial.
* Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks: Proven ability to handle both project work and day-to-day advisory tasks efficiently.
