About Us
ADF Health Services is a provider of integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force personnel across the nation. In partnership with Bupa, Serco delivers defence-ready clinical and support staff at over 50 on-base locations nationwide. About The Role
This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting to cater to the diverse mental health needs of military members. Referrals will come from various sources including the member, medical team, and Command. As a mental health professional in this role, you will be responsible for initial intake and assessment, providing flexibility to accommodate presenting need.
* Personal integrity and ethical behaviour
* Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting
* Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
* CPR certification
* Knowledge of relevant State/Territory policies and procedures and national standards governing mental health practice

About ACT Health Centre
The ACT Health Centre is a large facility servicing approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with services including primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.
