About the role
The Podiatrist works as a part of a multidisciplinary team delivering culturally safe podiatry services to Central Australia. The service includes support in preventing, diagnosing and treating medical and surgical conditions of the feet, including bone and joint disorders, muscular pathologies and neurological and circulatory diseases .
What are we looking for?
Someone to fit our team with the following requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Experience in management of the high-risk foot.
* Stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate in (written and oral) at a high level, form positive working relationships, adapt to audience, problem solve and manage conflicts.
* Understanding or knowledge of the wider allied health workforce.
* Understanding of the complexities of service delivery to remote Aboriginal communities.
* Ability to travel to and work in remote locations up to a week at a time, including travel on light aircraft.
* Current NT driver’s licence or ability to obtain.
