The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this Director is responsible for providing legal expertise and strategic leadership to the Family Law Division and its exceptional legal team, ensuring high quality legal work and services are delivered in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner. The Director will promote collaboration within the team and across the entire organisation to support the best and most comprehensive service provision to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
This role will also oversee the further development and continuous improvement of systems and processes, while implementing professional development and wellbeing programs to support staff and foster a culture of trust, diversity and safety.

Salary Range
SAES1: $192,382 - $295,973 per annum
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

What You Need for Success
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and empathetic leader with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, who can effectively lead and motivate employees, while building and maintaining productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate or eligible to apply for an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate.
* Be an admitted practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia.
* Be on the roll of practitioners for the High Court of Australia.
* Have a minimum of eleven years post admission legal experience in a relevant legal field.
* Have demonstrated experience in leading a team of lawyers involved in providing legal services in family law jurisdictions
