The Role
You'll be an integral part of our commercial practice, with work including:
* Running and assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing matters
* Drafting and advising on:
* Business sale agreements
* Share sale and shareholder agreements
* Property sale contracts
* Bespoke commercial agreements
* Working on mergers and acquisitions and general commercial advisory matters
* Exposure to (and the opportunity to develop an interest in) insolvency-related matters
* Conducting due diligence and legal research to support transactions
* Liaising directly with clients, referrers, agents, and other stakeholders
* Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail across all documentation
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants to develop quickly and be trusted to manage files, not just assist.
About You
You will ideally have:
* 2–4 years post-admission experience in commercial and/or property law
* Solid drafting skills across contracts and commercial documents
* Experience with PEXA, Microsoft Office, and Queensland Titles Office processes
* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills
* A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
* High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* A good sense of humour and the ability to work well in a small team
