The Senior Assessment Advisor – Renewable Energy role is an exciting career opportunity for those passionate about protecting and enhancing Tasmania’s cultural and natural values, facilitating productive and sustainable industries, and excited about the future of reliable, sustainable, and renewable energy in Tasmania.
This position will support major renewable energy projects as part of the Tasmanian Government’s Renewable Energy Coordination Framework, ensuring Tasmania remains a leader in renewable energy.
In this role, you will coordinate, provide advice, and develop mitigation strategies on potential impacts of natural and cultural values for major renewable energy projects, ensuring values are protected, managed, and conserved.
The role will be based in Launceston or Hobart, with some travel and fieldwork required.

Hours per Fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of Appointment
3 years.
Minimum Requirements
* A Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
