We proudly deliver our expert services through the SGS name and trusted specialized brands, including Brightside, Bluesign, Maine Pointe and Nutrasourse.SGS is publicly traded on the Swiss Exchange under the ticker symbol SGSN (ISIN CH0002497458, Reuters SGSN.S, Bloomberg SGSN:SW).Job DescriptionSGS is seeking a Facilities Handyperson/Caretaker.A Facilities Handyperson is mainly a caretaker; you will assist with the maintenance of facilities in the Perth metro area.Responsibilities include, however, are not limited to:Undertaking general repairs throughout the Facility i.e., patching, painting, basic plumbing, carpentry, and preventative maintenance to ensure upkeep of the facility.Gardening duties such as mowing, fertilizing, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance, and weed control (in between the gardener attending).Moving or relocating furniture, tools, equipment, stationery, etc., as required or directed.Ensuring all bins are emptied daily and cleaned and disinfected as required.Keeping Facility grounds clean and free from rubbish and other debris.Liaising with the Facilities Manager on requirements for tools and equipment and/or supplies to maintain stock.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following:Solid working experience in a similar role.Flexible working hours to suit requirements of projects.Must be able to work alone and as part of a team (task dependent).Previous experience using hand tools such as drills, hammers, etc.Welding experience (not essential).Physically fit due to required tasks and responsibilities of the role.Forklift ticket essential.Additional InformationWHY WORK FOR SGS?Working at SGS means joining an innovative, global company.
