We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable community members.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with NDIS participants and their families to identify needs through assessment and person-centered planning.
You will develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support environments, creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework.
Your daily responsibilities will include assisting NDIS participants, developing individual plans, building knowledge and capacity, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
* Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Practitioners
* Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle a varied caseload
