About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Road Train Operator for haulage operations near Moranbah, Qld. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials, including self‑loading with a wheel loader when required. You will contribute to meeting production targets while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate Road Trains for material haulage
* Self‑load using a wheel loader when required
* Conduct pre‑start inspections and maintain accurate equipment logs
* Adhere to haul routes, load limits, and production targets
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, loader operators, and pit control
* Report hazards, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly
* Maintain a strong safety culture and comply with all site procedures
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience operating Road Trains (triples or quads preferred)
* Loader operating experience for self‑loading
* Strong understanding of haulage operations in mining or similar environments
* High level of safety awareness and compliance
* Ability to work a 14/7 day shift roster
* Positive, team‑focused attitude
Required
* Valid MC Licence
* Loader competency (RIIMPO304 or equivalent)
* Standard 11 (preferred but not essential)
* CBM (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol screening
