Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our paediatric private practice in Mount Isa, Queensland.

The successful applicant will be responsible for completing assessments and delivering evidence-based intervention to the paediatric population.

This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive team environment that values rural and remote health.

Main Responsibilities:

* Complete comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored intervention plans to support children's communication needs.
* Manage your caseload effectively to ensure positive outcomes for clients.
* Provide high-quality reports and maintain accurate documentation of client progress.
* Prioritize continuing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Collaborate with families and education facilities to develop strategies for facilitating communication and language development at home/in the community.
* Build relationships within the community and liaise with stakeholders to provide holistic care.

Requirements

* Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
* Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility to apply)
* Current drivers licence and access to a vehicle
* Current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain this)
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge in providing assessment and intervention to children and adolescents
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
