The Tutoring Company is an Australian global award-winning tutoring organisation experiencing a huge demand for its services across Australia.
We require experienced tutors for all year levels at secondary school. The majority of positions are online in our specialised online tutoring platform, but some positions are also home-based.
Preference will be given to applicants able to also do home-based tutoring within their own area, close to their home (a travel allowance is payable).
You will be required to conduct private online and home-based (where possible) tuition sessions mainly after school hours and on weekends. We understand how busy life can be so you are the one who decides how many students you want, where you want to tutor, and when We only ask that you commit to your students for the school year.
Successful tutors will be required to attend a training session, covering the use of our specialised online tutoring platform.
Private tuition provides you with an opportunity to focus attention on just one student at a time and to deliver highly individualised tuition. For teaching undergraduates, this is a wonderful opportunity to practice and refine your teaching skills. **Successful applicants MUST be**:
- Qualified school teacher
or
- Education Undergraduate
or
- other graduates/undergraduates will be considered based on tutoring experience and ATAR score.
- any other qualification, such as TESOL, will not be accepted_
**You Must**:
- Have your own transport and a current licence
- Have excellent communication skills
- Strong English language skills.
- Current teacher registration or Work With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalence
- Have an excellent understanding of The Australian Curriculum
