Assistant Director Opportunity
Pimpala Out of School Hours Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be a committed and dedicated individual with a genuine love for working with children.
Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the OSHC Director and school leadership to ensure our service operates effectively and meets all compliance standards.

* Develop authentic relationships with students, families, and staff
* Create a connected, secure, stimulating, and enriching learning environment
* Assist with planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs for students R-6
* Scaffold an engaging & connected vacation care program
Responsibilities
The Assistant Director will be responsible for:
* Providing administration support to ensure effective OSHC operations
* Working collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously when required
* Support daily service operations
* Collaborating with school leadership, OSHC Director, and the Governing Council
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Diploma in Outside of School Hours Care, Children's Services, or Bachelor in Early Childhood or Primary Education - ACECQA approved
* Current DCSI / WWCC
* Current First Aid, CPR, and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect certifications
* Sound knowledge of ACECQA, National Quality Framework, EYLF, MTOP
Desired Criteria
The following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Supervisors' Food Safety Qualification
* Understanding of children with special rights
* Behavior management training
* Experience with OSHC administration systems and NQA Portal

Key Selection Criteria
