About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Internal Trade Sales Consultantto play a pivotal role in driving our ongoing sales growth. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales by obtaining new business, along with building strong relationships with our current client base.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be an exceptional people and customer relationship leader. Ideally you will have prior working history in the building or hardware industry. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, forming new business relationships, and contributing to the growth of the company.
What you will be doing
While knowledge of the building and hardware industry would be beneficial, we value a motivated attitude and passion for sales above all.
* Prioritising safety as part of our everyday culture.
* Prepare quotations, follow up with clients, process orders and liaise with suppliers and clients.
* Responsible for providing customers with products solutions based on product knowledge.
* Identify and target potential new customers, by establishing and nurturing these relationships, particularly with key decision makers.
* Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive growth through timber and hardware sales.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our current customer base, understanding their needs and developing their spend with us.
* Provide pricing feedback and make recommendations to management on market trends and required pricing adjustments.
* Support our inventory management, assisting with cycle counts, stock-takes and inwards goods.
