Job Title:
A Territory Development Manager is a crucial role that requires you to enhance the profitability of assigned territories by nurturing partnerships.
Drive expansion of key customers, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to overall growth and profitability across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet monthly and yearly sales goals and financial targets.
* Oversee and supervise debtors/accounts receivable in accordance with company policies.
* Recognize users of competitive brands and create tactics to showcase advantages of using refinish and industrial coatings products.
* Assist distributor sales activities, ensure accurate product recommendation and application, while adhering to EH&S procedures.
* Follow pricing initiatives/policies to provide necessary profit contribution.
* Establish and maintain strong connections with key customers and industry groups.
* Identify opportunities and execute plans to expand in underrepresented segments and geographies.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong customer service emphasis required.
* Proficiency in technical knowledge of refinish & industrial paint products and application techniques desirable.
* Prior experience with competitor products advantageous.
* Trade qualification in spray painting and refinish industry desirable. Negotiation and presentation skills important.
