About this role:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Community Cohesion Officer. In this role, you will play a critical part in building strong, cohesive communities with positive social outcomes.

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:
\
\
1. Project management and coordination
\
2. Working closely with customers to improve employment, training, digital inclusion, physical and mental well-being, community connections, and identifying opportunities for the organisation
\
3. Building and developing strong relationships with community partnerships
\
4. Fostering partnerships across the region
\
5. Representing the organization in various capacities
\
\
You will be an exceptional communicator who is at ease with diverse audiences and situations. With effective time management skills, you can forward plan, manage competing projects and priorities, and work to deadlines.
\
To succeed in this role, you will have/be:
\
\
6. A proven track record in similar community development positions
\
7. Driven and operate with integrity, customer, and solutions focus
\
8. Great social awareness and understanding of social and cultural differences
\
9. A degree in Social Sciences or equivalent (desired)
\
10. A NSW Driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
\
\
