Are you looking for a regular role with aged care clients who are living in the community? Have you been wanting to complete an Aged Care qualification and want to work at the same time? This role is for you! Family-friendly hours. Train on the job and complete your studies whilst being paid. Are you looking to start your caring career? This role is for you: On-the-job training provided Regular clients and hours Permanent part-time roles Flexible days/hours, as long as your availability is between 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday If you don't have experience, we can offer you on-the-job training Minimum 15 hours a week, and work up to 30 hours a week Excellent incentives and working conditions The hourly rate starts from $24.65 per hour (part-time) Must have a reliable vehicle, with an NSW driver's licence. Are you caring, supportive, reliable, a person, and have a great attitude? Do you have a reliable car, a current NSW driver's licence, and are COVID-19 vaccinated? Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation is seeking new team members to join their local team in the region. No experience is required; we will train you in Certificate III in Individual Support, and you will be paid to attend buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days. Full on-the-job training provided. We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new clients requiring services, with the expansion of community services. When you start your career as a Community Support Worker, you can complete socialisation and domestic tasks. As you progress, you will receive training in additional services, such as personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting), respite, catheter care, and much more! What we are seeking: Have a great attitude Be reliable Willingness to learn and work Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will get this for you) Ability to pass and receive a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC) Have a current NSW driver's licence Have a reliable, registered vehicle, with full comprehensive insurance; and Have regular availability Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. You will be visiting (clients - aged care) in their homes and supporting them with services, which may include: Domestic Assistance Shopping trips Personal Care (dressing, showering, grooming, etc) Meal Preparation Transportation To & from Medical Appointments Social Activities Respite We are seeking people living within the local area Willingness to learn If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please apply here.
