Base pay range
A$140,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
Location
Brisbane South, with travel as required
About the Organisation
Get Skilled Training is an established RTO founded in 2012, specialising in high-quality training delivery across refrigeration, air conditioning, and electrical sectors. The organisation delivers nationally recognised qualifications including UEE20120 Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems, Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Training, Test & Tag Training, and Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Following successful funding contract acquisitions in Queensland and the ACT, the organisation is expanding into apprenticeship training and seeking strategic leadership to drive national growth objectives.
The Role
This newly created position reports directly to the Managing Director and encompasses comprehensive oversight of RTO operations. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and exceptional training delivery outcomes while contributing to strategic expansion initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive RTO operations across multiple departments
- Maintain ASQA compliance standards and funding contract obligations
- Oversee training delivery quality and continuous improvement programs
- Lead team development and foster high-performance culture
- Develop strategic industry, employer, and government partnerships
- Collaborate on budget management and financial performance with senior leadership
- Drive strategic planning for new market expansion
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Senior management experience within RTO environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of ASQA compliance and funding contract management
- Demonstrated operational management across training, compliance, finance, and HR functions
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Advanced organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
