Oversight is required for construction projects in the Bendigo region.
Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Initiate and complete commercial construction projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
* Safety Management: Prioritize health and safety, striving for zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs), ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Operational Oversight: Coordinate workforce resourcing and productivity on-site, labor schedules included. Procure equipment and materials within budget constraints, maintaining accurate cost and quantity control.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, providing effective guidance and support as needed.
* Quality Control: Implement quality assurance techniques, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
* Team Development: Provide coaching and mentoring to on-site teams to achieve performance expectations, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
* A trade-qualified professional with at least 3 years' experience in commercial construction.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead by example, promoting a positive team culture.
* Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities, along with excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
* A clear understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements, conflict resolution skills essential.
