About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Traralgon area.
As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker and possess a strong understanding of supported independent living principles.
You will be responsible for providing support with daily activities, personal care, and medication management, as well as assisting with meal preparation and accompanying clients on outings.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid NDIS Clearance and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Providing support with daily activities, personal care, and medication management
* Assisting with meal preparation and accompanying clients on outings
* Supporting individuals with complex care needs, including manual handling, bowel care, and hoist transfers
Required Qualifications and Skills
* At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance - must already hold a valid clearance
* First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months)
* National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
* Complex care training - manual handling, bowel care, hoist, transfers, medication administration
