**Clinician - HOPE Way Back Program**
- Based in Seymour
- Fixed Term Full Time
- 80 hours per fortnight (including ADO every 4 weeks)

**About the role**
- The HOPE program provides assertive outreach support to clients who had an attempt of suicide or who have suicidal ideation due to a situational crisis in their life. The program provides a trauma informed approach and provides clinical and practical supports. The clinician will provide a high standard of care in a manner that is alert, respectful of and responsive to the views and needs of the participants in the program and their carers/families. The role requires the provision of outreach services across the designated catchment areas. where some out of hours work may be required.
**We are looking for**
- Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current best practice.
- Knowledge and ability to implement a range of clinical interventions in regard to suicide and client focused care.
- Ability to promote and model collaborative and respectful relationships with staff, participants, families and carers.

**Selection Criteria**

- Essential : Detailed knowledge of several empirically supported treatment approaches appropriate for the treatment of participants post suicide attempt or suicidal ideation
