In this critical role, you'll be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating ground movement impacts caused by underground mining opera
tions.
You will provide technical expertise to safeguard communities, infrastructure, and the environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory sta

Conduct detailed mine subsidence risk assessments and develop predicti
- ve models.Monitor, analyse, and report on ground movement and associated infrastructur
- e impacts.Provide technical advice on remediation, prevention, and mitigation
- measures.Collaborate with developers, engineers, regulators, and community sta
- keholders.Prepare expert technical reports for internal and external sta
- keholders.Ensure adherence to mine subsidence legislation, industry standards, and safety f
rameworks.

About you
Your background
* will include:
Tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Mining or Civ
- il Engineering.Significant experience in mine subsidence engineering, remediation / mine filling design, and geotechni
- cal assessment.Proven track record in subsidence modelling and interpretation, structural impact assessment, and monitor
- ing techniques.Excellent technical reporting and commun
- ication skills.Familiarity with Subsidence Advisory
- NSW practices.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent registrati
**on (desirable).
