The Chance
We have an opportunity for a Key Account Manager - Business Development to join our QLD team based at Yatala. With a strong portfolio across Brisbane, you’ll take ownership of a high-performing sales pipeline, driving re-signs, hunting for new business, and maximising cross-sell opportunities across our service offering. Backed by Cleanaway’s market leadership and collaborative teams, you’ll apply your KAM acumen and market insights to achieve revenue growth, strengthen customer retention, and elevate satisfaction, all while upholding the highest standards of compliance, reporting, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of customers to grow opportunities and strengthen collaboration, with a deep understanding of the client’s scope of work.
- Undertake new business development activity to build on your portfolio.
- Engage in high-level negotiations, presentations, and planning for key accounts.
- Collaborate with peers and executives across the business to maximise business outcomes.
- Undertake data analysis of competitor activity reports and market intelligence.
About You
- Proven experience in a similar Key Account Manager - Business Development role within a fast-paced or service-based industry is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing legal contracts and agreements with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated track record of driving business growth.
- Strong presentation and proposal/tender development skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
