We are seeking a Business Banking Manager to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. Our people are customer obsessed, prioritising the needs and satisfaction of the customer above all else.
In this role, you will discover new business and referral prospects, build and expand networks, and preserve and improve your portfolio's credit risk profile while optimising profitability. You will also launch initiatives to foster customer growth, execute annual business plans, and work with internal specialists to best serve your customers.
Responsibilities:
- Discover new business and referral prospects while building, expanding, and leveraging networks of internal and external contacts
- Preserve and improve your portfolio's credit risk profile while optimising profitability
- Launch initiatives to foster customer growth in the local market and execute annual business plans for your portfolio
- Work with internal specialists to best serve your customers
- Keep up with market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes to offer strategic insights that can enhance client acquisition and retention efforts
Requirements:
- Likely to be an experienced retail/private/business banker with a business-related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification (generally CA, PY, ACCA, MBA, CIB)
- Experience within business banking and/or credit assessment
- A hunger to find recent opportunities with the goal of building long-lasting relationships
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Proven experience providing financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions, and risk management for customers
