Job Title: Aboriginal Family Support Worker
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as an Aboriginal Family Support Worker. This is a unique opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to family time visits between children and young people in out-of-home care and their families. You will ensure the safety and well-being of children during these visits and transport them to various locations as needed.
You will also communicate effectively with children, young people, families and carers in a culturally sensitive manner to facilitate positive interactions during family time and transport. Your role will involve recording observations and preparing documentation following supervised visits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and supervision to family time visits between children and young people in out-of-home care and their families.

Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Community Services or related field.
* Minimum 2 years experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Current NSW driver's licence.
* Working with Children Check clearance.
* First aid certificate.
