Senior Data & AI Consultant (Microsoft Fabric / Databricks)
Location: Sydney (remote-first, with regular Microsoft Partner & client catchups)
Experience: 5+ years in Data/AI consulting, solution design, or pre-sales

We’re looking for a consulting-level Data & AI skilled — someone confident leading client conversations and technically fluent in Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.
If you don’t already have hands-on experience designing or implementing solutions in these platforms, this role isn’t the right fit.
You’ll bridge sales and delivery : uncovering client needs, designing solutions, and staying close enough to the build to make them real.
This is a rare 2IC opportunity to work directly alongside our founder, with a clear path to leadership and equity.
What you’ll do
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and demos with clients and Microsoft sellers.
- Design and deliver proof-of-concepts and solution architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Azure OpenAI.
- Translate business goals into technical roadmaps - and stay hands-on enough to build trust with engineering teams.
- Write proposals and statements of work that align delivery with business outcomes.
- Build relationships with Microsoft’s Sydney team and co-sell into joint opportunities.
What you bring
- Proven consulting-level experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks (non-negotiable).
- Strong data platform and engineering background - you understand how to design, optimise, and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Experience running client workshops and communicating with both execs and technical leaders.
- A growth mindset - ready to help shape a business, not just deliver for one.
- The ability to operate autonomously and thrive in a small, high-trust team.
