The Role
As the Clinical Nurse Clinical Facilitator (Anaesthetics and PACU) you will apply clinical knowledge and evidence-based care within the anaesthetics/ recovery setting. Working closely with CNCs and CNEs, you'll support service and practice development, build workforce capability through education, and help maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills. You'll also contribute to learning programs and the review of resources to meet clinical, professional and organisational needs.
About you
You're a confident clinician with a solid foundation in anaesthetics/ recovery nursing and a drive to build team capability. To be successful you will have:
* Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same.
* Demonstrated well-developed knowledge, skills and experience in anaesthetics/ recovery nursing or related fields with depth in some areas and a broad range of skills.
* Proven ability to act as a clinical resource and role model, including mentoring and preceptoring less experienced staff and students.
* Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of local activities beyond direct client care
* Effective communication skills to achieve positive outcomes, maintain productive multi-disciplinary working relationships, deal with challenging behaviours, and resolve conflicts.
