The purpose of your role is to 'lead the delivery' of business change initiatives, features and enhancements. With an analysis and change delivery background and ability to wear multiple hats, this role will be responsible for managing work across multiple teams including managing dependencies, risks and issues across work items. This will include liaising between developers, service or product owners, architects to ensure the service is built and delivered to the customer. In addition to having outstanding technical BA capabilities, your role will require a comprehensive understanding of Agile / Waterfall project delivery, project delivery systems, as well as experience with program / project management, design, change management, development and testing.

Description of division and business unit

AMP Bank is a growing retail bank, with a focus on providing retail deposit accounts, residential mortgage products and services and other consumer value add services that support and complement AMP's businesses. The Bank distributes direct to retail customers and through Brokers and Planners. The Bank Transformation business unit is a cross-Bank function that services both the Lending & Everyday Banking and the Bank GO divisions of the Bank. The Bank Transformation function is accountable for delivery of change and is custodian of the practices and operating rhythms for ensuring that transformation execution aligns to business strategy, maximizing the realization of customer and business benefit.

About the role:

* Responsible for the elaboration of features defined by service or proposition owners.
* Write user stories and tasks for a feature and runs ceremonies such as feature kick-off, daily stand-ups and showcase.
* Work with product owner or change owners to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, document key processes, etc
* Specify scope and requirements to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed changes.
* Act as a project manager who is responsible for the delivery of initiatives end to end.
* Manage dependencies, risks and issues within the initiative and escalating as required
* Provide advice and recommendations, based on expertise and experience, to address business needs. May deal with one specialist subject area or can be wide ranging and address strategic business issues. May also include support for the implementation of any agreed solutions.
* Identify, analysis, clarification and communication of the context of use in which applications will operate, and of the goals of products, systems or services. Iteratively develop user / customer tasks, interaction and interfaces to meet user / customer requirements, considering the whole user / customer experience.
* Evaluate systems, products or services, to assure that the stakeholder and organisational requirements have been met, required practice has been followed, and systems in use continue to meet organisational and user / customer needs.
* Planning and implementation of organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the business, especially those arising from the use of information technology, reduction or non-availability of energy supply or inappropriate disposal of materials, hardware or data
* Work closely with technology delivery counterparts to ensure delivery is aligned with architecture/platform principles to enable long-term efficiency of the platform and minimise technical debt
* Continually foster and enhance cross-practice alignment and delivery methodology

About you:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, predominantly including senior business analysis and project management/ scrum master experience
* Experience in a start-up or scale up environment.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts Experience working in digital-first, SaaS-based and highly agile delivery environments.
* Strong interpersonal, collaborative, & relationship management skills; an ability to interact at multiple levels
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation & traceability using a variety of tools
* Requirements prioritisation
* Competent in the use of MS Office tools and Jira and Confluence
* IT or Business degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in banking industry.

* Proven track record of working in a high-cadence project delivery environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Strong sense of curiosity and an inquisitive mindset focused on understanding the detail and how something does and should work
* strong interpersonal skills and situational awareness including the ability to challenge and question thinking in a positive manner
* Demonstrates a proactive, inquisitive and problem-solving nature to assist our customers and the business
* Advocates for our customers and their experiences by providing ongoing feedback on what is and is not working
* Previous experience working with digital products, and understanding of digital acumen
* Demonstrated experience in the use of project management tools in an agile context including use of Jira and Confluence.
* The ability to wear multiple hats, operate outside the train tracks to get the job done. Lean in to help and support colleagues where required.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and make informed decisions without always having all of the necessary information
* Proven ability to work and lead people in an agile and fast paced environment
