Flexible Packaging
PPG provides a vast range of flexible packaging products used for packing beverages, retail and wholesale foods, healthcare products, household products, pet food, and personal care items.
We are looking fora dynamic and energetic Account Manager to focus on the supply of Integrated Packaging Group's flexible plastic packaging through our vast customer base and distribution network. Your time will be spent managing your portfolio, generating new business and cultivate existing relationships. In addition, you will be required to grow your territory and meet targets and maintain budgets.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Formulating, implementing, and managing strategic business plans for customer accounts to achieve Sales revenue/Sales quota targets.
Working closely with customers to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.
Acting as the main interface between the customer and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seeking the opportunity to participate in customers' strategic business planning processes.
Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts, and Account Management plans.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Demonstrated Sales experience, ideally within the Food & Beverage, or Health & Pharma markets. Packaging experience would be highly regarded
Specialist product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
Ability to be a hunter and a farmer – seeking out new business opportunities, whilst also maximising share of wallet within your portfolio
Strong customer centricity and engagement abilities
Well-developed negotiation skills, excellent communication and relationship building skill set
Demonstrated experience in business planning including account management plans, and planning a pipeline of new business targets
The ability to set priorities to accommodate various workloads and meet daily deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
