Hays Technology are proudly partnered with an Australia-wide distributor to appoint a **L1 IT Support Officer** to a** permanent role** based in the **Western Suburbs**.
**Your new role**
As a key member of a small dynamic team and reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing essential technical assistance and exceptional customer service to their contact centre. The role will suit a customer service-orientated person who is patient and is able to deal with multiple enquiries and issues, providing quick responses and accurate results.
- Be the first point of contact for **Desktop and Application Support**:
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, and LAN/ WAN networks
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be a people person. Great **phone and customer service skills** are a must to be successful in this role. With approx. **12 months experience**, you'll have a fundamental understanding of **Basic Windows Support, Active Directory groups and password resets**.
