Rockhampton Regional Council is looking for dedicated Gardeners to join our Open Spaces and Recreation team on a casual basis. In this role, you will contribute to the development and upkeep of parks, open spaces, sports fields, and public areas across the region.
With a strong focus on safety and attention to detail, you will be responsible for tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, irrigation maintenance, and general landscaping. You will also assist with inspections, reporting hazards, and ensuring park facilities are well-maintained for the community.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
* C Class driver licence and White Card (Mandatory).
* Ability to safely operate mowers, brush cutters, chain saws and blowers.
* A motivated, proactive, self-starter with a passion to deliver quality horticulture works.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
* Someone who enjoys and is capable of physical and outdoor work.
