THE ROLE.

We are seeking a full-time, energetic and results driven Junior Broker to provide long term support in our commercial broking team.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

* Support the team in managing their portfolio of clients' insurance, risk management and programs
* Prepare client documentation and invoices. (for example, renewal questionnaires, new business and renewal quotes, and client manuals)
* Assist with the lodgement of claims.
* Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients via phone and email
* Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
* Undertake professional development (achieve and maintain compliance with the relevant legislative requirements)

This position is office based and is NOT suitable for candidates wishing to work remotely.

Successful applicants will have:

* Minimum Tier 2 General Insurance - Broking qualification (ANZIIF)
* Positive attitude.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively or autonomously as necessary.
* Strong organisational skills including attention to detail, the ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and ability to critically think.
* Demonstrated experience within the insurance industry and office environments, together with a professional approach aligned to Bruce Insurance's core values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Professionalism.
* Sound oral and written communication skills, confidence, with initiative to take on additional duties when required
* Experience using WinBeat or Insight, Insurer systems & Office 365.
