What You'll Be Doing
- Own the cost accounting process across the APAC region, including product costings, budgeting, and inventory valuation.
- Analyse product, raw material, and overhead costs to ensure accuracy in standard costing.
- Deliver timely and accurate new product development (NPD/EPD) costings.
- Conduct weekly variance analysis and identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, production, procurement, and commercial teams.
- Lead margin analysis by product line, providing actionable recommendations to drive profitability.
- Maintain and optimise ERP standard cost models (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC).
- Support month-end and year-end close processes with cost-related reporting and insights.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial performance across the supply chain.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CMA or MBA preferred).
- 3–5+ years’ experience in cost accounting within an FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory systems, and ERP platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- A solutions-focused approach and passion for continuous improvement.
