Senior Financial Accountant
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality financial management, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders and the Chief Financial Officer.
* Ensure operational and commercial outcomes are achieved in a compliant, ethical, and strategically sound manner.
* Develop and implement accounting policies, manage compliance with professional and statutory standards, enhance financial systems and controls, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Deep knowledge of NSW Government Sector finance legislation, directions, and policies.
* Strong command of Australian Accounting Standards.
* Degree qualification in Commerce or Business, and membership of CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand.
Benefits:
* Ongoing full-time role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime.
* Salary range from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super and leave loading.
